Publishing offered an ideal creative outlet for artist Ihor Todoruk. His first publishing venture was a book 555-1212, a collaboration with Vancouver writer Stephen Gross. The book created a buzz in Vancouver as a very fine example of creative independent publishing in the seventies.

Thrilled with the initial success of 555-1212, Stephen and Ihor formed a small publishing venture called Multiple Majic Media. Book publications included, Yankees Gone Home, a book of poetry by a former US Marine, Michael Gross. Other small mini-magazines were also published.

Poppin, was later published as an international Rock Culture magazine, and this occupied his time for the next two years. This magazine was produced as as along with photographer Graham Thorne and writer Hank Zevallos.

Gypsy, an alternative lifestyles magazine, was a publishing experiment financed by local Vancouver entrepreneurs.

Century of Sound, was created as a print documentary celebrating the first 100 years of Recorded Sound, and was designed and produced for the Canadian Recording Industry Association, as a compliment to the CNE exhibition project, in Toronto.
