Gypsy was an alternative lifestyles experimental one issue only, glossy magazine. It was distributed and published in Vancouver in 1970.
In addition to features, comics, art and photospreads, that included exotic and often sensual photography and graphics, the magazine was one of the first to publish Tarantula, Bob Dylan's then unpublished manuscript.

The manuscript was revolutionary in the manner of its distribution if nothing else. Possibly the fact that Dylan chose not to publish Tarantula, may be because his rage melted into religion, as indicated by the pontifical shift in John Wesley Harding, (one of his early poetry-songs) toward kindness and understanding or too much kindness in Tarantula. Maybe he discerned Tarantula would emanate bad vibrations. We will never know. Nevertheless Gypsy included the discussion of the script, by David Wilcox.
