once-in-a-lifetime event.

Century of Sound is a print documentary of the first 100 years of recorded sound, from a Canadian perspective. It was commissioned by the Canadian Recording Industry Association.

Project Contributors included executive writer Bob Weir, and writers
Brian Gorman, Jim Simons and Marty Melhuish. Art direction was handled by A.R. Brush. Creative direction and project co-ordination was by Ihor Todoruk. Corporate Liason for Century of Sound was by Jean Marie Heimrath.

Century of Sound, featured stories about:
The Beginning of Recorded Sound, The Berliners, the Advent of Radio, Stars and Superstars, the Hard Sell, Record Companies, Music Publishing, The Tape Revelution, Studio Sessions etc.

This is a 48 page, fully illustrated LP record jacket style12"x12" book.

This publication was produced in 1977 exclusively for CRIA and is now considered a collectable, out of print book.
